Objectives

₿ The purpose of investigating is to gather enough evidence to prove where the suspected criminals hid the funds and or identify the perpetrators.

The information contained in the investigation report may be cited in any legal action.

Types of investigations

1. Crypto forensic investigation

2. OSINT – (Open source) investigation if applicable.

In order to determine which kind of investigation will take place we would need to:

₿ Overview of events and preliminary investigation

₿ Establish expectations

Case event interview

₿ Determine the individuals or/and entities involved in the case

₿ Gather evidence- Fill out the investigation online form and submit relevant documents.

₿ Fact-finding. This may require an interview.

₿ Evaluate, prepare and organize the evidence for the investigation

₿ Finalize investigation and evaluation

Delivery

You will receive the following:

₿ A full crypto forensic report including –

₿ Graphical mapping used on the blockchain by the suspected criminals to hide the fraud-based crime.

₿ Evidence that investigators in law enforcement, court or exchanges can use.

It will be presented on a CSV format that will include transaction and address hashes.

₿ OSINT report (As required if necessary)

It may include finding; Domain registrant, address, Identity phone and facial recognition.

Note: Results are dependent on the level of expertise of the perpetrator and it may not always show results.

₿ Post investigation questions and answers online meeting:

In order to understand the results and determine the possible steps that may be taken in recovering the lost assets.
